After the convention is before the convention :)

On April 4, 2026, right after the Leipzig Book Fair, we headed straight to the CMC in Bremen, which took place today on Easter Saturday and therefore didn’t have as many artists in attendance. Nevertheless, with karpavOli, milkyheaven, junli, and bernapics, there were once again some great artists there presenting their work. 

Overall, it was a rather quiet convention, but it still brought many wonderful conversations and new impressions, and also showed that the new display stands and  Co. were well received ;). 

The second convention this year took Gojo-Furita back to Hamburg, to the factory on Barnerstraße, where she once again had a great time with KarpavOli and Pia Hessler as her table neighbors. 

The convention was incredibly well attended this time, and there were many wonderful and entertaining conversations with visitors and other great artists :) 

This time, Jasmin Kunstmann, Milkyheaven, mlplossart, Chiana, Julia Damm-Arts, Xbluemoonxart, and many other great exhibitors were also there :)

For the first time, visitors were also able to marvel at the new key rings from East Way. 

This convention year kicked off in 2026 with a table at the Bremen Comic and Manga Convention at Domsheide 6 in the Die Glocke event center, where DIN A4-sized illustrations for the Himes manga were published for the first time. Together with our two wonderful table neighbors, KarpavOli and Pia Hessler, it was another totally awesome convention. :)

For the first time, Gojo Furita also brought the new plug-in grids to this convention, whose black panels showed off the illustrations even better. :) In addition to Pia Hessler and KarpavOli, there were also lots of established artists on site, including Jasmin Kunstmann, Milkyheaven, mlplossart, bernapics, and many others.

A mega-beautiful start to the convention season this year. It continues in February in Hamburg :)  

Polaris 2025 at the exhibition grounds in Hamburg really made an impression. In halls B1 to B4 and in halls B5 and B7, not far from the Planten und Bloomen nature park, various artists, events and an extensive food street ensured a good atmosphere and brought smiles to the faces of numerous visitors, whether in cosplay or not. 

The number of artists in halls B1, B2 and B3 was particularly large, so there was a lot to browse through. From stickers to calendars, mugs, postcards, illustrations and crocheted items, there was everything to make the hearts of convention-goers beat faster. 

The event area with a large stage, a dance floor and the sales and presentation stands of smaller publishers and local companies invited interested visitors to take a look around.
