The Protagonist
Galadriel of Drakestone
Galadriel is the protagonist of East Way.
Though still somewhat naive at times, Galadriel—a young bounty hunter endowed with a strong sense of justice and the fiery spirit of youth—is up to any challenge, no matter how difficult. When it comes to the secret techniques of her home village, Goya, she’s still quite a rookie at the start of the story, but she makes up for her inexperience with creativity and unpredictability.
Gala loves her village and nature. She enjoys going hunting and having adventures with Samson, finds it annoying to be scolded and patronized by Astra, but is a role model for many villagers due to her drive and initiative.
Unlike Samson, she relies entirely on the mysterious techniques of her Uhrami jug and the cloud magic it contains when undertaking potential missions.
East Way - Main Characters
Astra Voltaire
Astra always has a cigarette in the corner of his mouth. He takes everything lightly, never shows fear or panic and is the best fighter in handling the Uhrami jug all over Goya.
Georgous Francis
Georgous is the only teacher of the Uhrami-Mist-Art in Goya. At the beginning of the manga, Galadriel is his only student, but he treats her like his daughter and looks after her. Georgous helps Galadriel with her training with the Uhrami Jug and likes to tell her stories from his youth.
Samson
Samson has a big mouth and gives his opinion on everything and everyone. He has given up the art of Urahmi fighting and relies entirely on his weaponry in battle, to which he devotes his great passion.
East Way - The Susano-Robbers
Susano 'eyepain'
Susano is the leader of a notorious gang of robbers who have been terrorising the forests around Goya for a long time. He possesses incredible physical strength, uses fire attacks and has a cybernetic eye that gives him the ability to drive people mad.
Yu-On-Ra
Yu-On-Ra is the deputy leader of the Susano band of robbers. She is known for her cold-heartedness and mistrust of people. She is also considered an outsider within the gang.
Eiichiro Fukoda
Fukoda is a corrupt priest who sells his soul for money and helps the Susano band of robbers plan robberies for personal gain. He is actually a coward who runs away at the slightest sign of danger.
